Basic Zombie is a Burbs zombie in Plants vs. Zombies 3: Evolved. It is one of the first few zombies you encounter when you start up the game, the others being Conehead Zombie and Buckethead Zombie.

Basic Zombie is based on the zombie with the same name and appearance of the original game and its sequel but uses the same name as in the shooter games rather than the name from the former two games.

Strategies

Just like in previous games, Basic Zombie is extremely easy to deal with. Provided that there is at least some sort of distance or obstacle, any plant can be used to defeat it.

Strategies

As with all previous games in the series, Browncoat Zombie is an easy zombie to deal with. However, as the game goes on in Devour Tower, it gets stronger.

It can be difficult to deal with at times when other zombies come over to give it a boost. There are not many strategies with the Browncoat Zombie, as almost any plant in the game can take it out. Just remember to keep taking care of Breakouts and getting seeds to your plants can get stronger so the Browncoat Zombie will not get too strong in later Devour Tower levels.

Trivia

• Basic Zombie can spawn in as either male or female.
• The female basic is one of few zombies whose decapitated head faces a 3/4 side view instead of facing in front like most others, the second being Shark Zombie.
• Basic Zombie's splash screen does not display any special message. This trait is shared with the Imp.
  • In this case, the splash screen just displayed "Zombie" on its name, despite that it was named as "Basic Zombie" in the whole entire game.
