Wild Campground (野營地; pinyin: Yěyíng Dì; lit. translation: Wild Camping Ground), formerly also referred to as Campground (營地; pinyin: Yíngdì), is the first world in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 3 as part of the World Adventure game mode. This world offers a total of 21 levels to play (11 on Normal Mode, 10 on Hard Mode), 7 plants to acquire, 4 evolutions to discover, and 15 zombies to fight against.
This world has three mechanisms, Wallow[?] (泥坑; pinyin: Níkēng), Reed Marsh[?] (蘆葦蕩; pinyin: Lúwěi Dàng), and Stream[?] (流水;; pinyin: Liúshuǐ):
Wallow: Some tiles of the lawn will be wallow, preventing the player from being able to plant on these tiles. The zombies, however, can normally cross the tiles.
Reed Marsh: Some tiles of the lawn will have pre-placed reeds, which allows multiple zombies to not take any damage or even be detected at all as long as the zombie is within a tile with reeds. The reeds can be countered by using Blover anywhere on the lawn, either directly on a tile or indirectly by fusing it with another plant, which will cause every single reed tile on the lawn to be blown away for a period of time, after which they will grow back and require the use of Blover again. (Exclusive from the third beta test and onwards)
Stream: Some tiles of the lawn will be replaced with water before the level starts, which forces the player to use aquatic plants on those tiles. These water tiles can be connected with other tiles and sometimes have a flowing current on them, which through the surprise attack of this gimmick, the "Water Surge!" (水湧!), the stream will move any plants or zombies within the flowing current one tile either to the right, left, upwards, or downwards depending on which way the current flows. The flowing current of a stream pre-exists and can not change direction nor appear throughout the level.
Prior to the third beta test of the game, another mechanism used to appear throughout this world, being the Zombie Fog, which had Dr. Zomboss spraying fog onto the lawn at the beginning of the level, with the caption "Fog Attack!" (大霧來襲!), which would make the player unable to see zombies and plants underneath the fog tiles unless Plantern was used which would half-erase fog tiles in a 3x3 area.
Also prior to the third beta test of the game, some levels would be set at a night-time setting, which would stop the falling of sun from the sky for the entire level.
Note: Majority of non-branch levels can optionally pre-select 7 or 8 random plants that can be unselected or no optionally pre-selected plants at all, with different type of pre-selection for each player. If a level has one or more locked pre-selections, the level can optionally pre-selected 7 or less random plants instead, with different type of pre-selection for each player again.
The map for this world contains three hidden Zombie Yetis.
Despite the Hard Mode version of the map being set at night-time, none of the levels of the Hard Mode utilize the night-time setting of the lawn.
This, however, is not the case for the version of the levels during the first and second beta tests of the game, albeit there not being a night-time version of the world map prior to the third beta test of the game.
Despite some levels of the Hard Mode listing Landscaper Zombie on the list of zombies present in the level, he does not appear a single time throughout those levels.
It is unknown whether this is an oversight or an intentional removal of him albeit forgotten to be unlisted.
Despite Swinging Zombie most likely being part of Urban District due to the almanac order, he makes a quick appearance in the first level of this world for the tutorial.
