Electric Tailgrape (电击鹰爪花; pinyin: Diàn​jī Yīngzhǎohuā) is a plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the 3.4.6 update alongside the Speed Racing Secret Realm, Gloom Vine, and Dragon Bruit.

Electric Tailgrape condenses balls of lightning and lobs them above zombies' heads before needing to recharge, the lightning balls emit continuous lightning strikes that shock zombies walking underneath them. When the zombie leaves the attack range of the lightning ball or dies, the lightning ball will re-select a new target to attack.

Origins

Electric Tailgrape is based on the Tail grape (Artabotrys hexapetalus), a species of shrub found throughout Southern and Eastern Asia.

When fed Plant Food, Electric Tailgrape will throw a large ball of lightning that continuously damages zombies in a 3x3 area.

If Electric Tailgrape is wearing its costume, the huge lightning ball will also be able to stun zombies.

The purple thunder follows the thunder ball, reaches the attack position, and releases a thunder attack towards the zombies within the cross range below. The damage is 5 times the current attack power, and has a 50% chance of paralyzing zombies for 1 second; the thunder ball’s tractor beam is upgraded, and when the target zombie walks out of 0.5 tile distance, it will be pulled in place 鹰爪花在凝聚雷电球时，有80%概率额外召唤出紫色雷电，紫色雷电跟随雷电球移动，达到攻击位置，朝下方十字范围内的僵尸释放一次雷电攻击，伤害为当前攻击力的5倍，并且有50%概率对僵尸麻痹Ⅰ1秒；雷电球的牵引光束升级，当目标僵尸走出0.5格距离后将被拉扯在原地
