Fanana (爆竹射手; pinyin: Bàozhú shèshǒu) is a Physical Ranged plant in Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 3, introduced in the fifth beta of the game. Fanana is given to the player during the banner tutorial.

Fanana costs 150 sun and it throws its leaves at zombies in a 5-tile range, dealing damage to them on the way forward and backward, similar to Bloomerang. Fanana can fuse with the Blover to evolve into Whirlwind Fanana.

Origins

Fanana is based on Banana Tree from Plants vs. Zombies Online, who functioned and looked very similar to Fanana.
Banana Tree is based on the Japanese banana tree (Musa basjoo), a banana tree originating from southern China that is commonly cultivated in parts of Japan for its plant fibers.

ABILITY

Fanana throws a spinning fan, dealing damage to zombies within its path twice.

Other plants often ask Fanana how it manages to retrieve the fan it throws out, and Fanana only has one answer: "I have no special skill, it's just a matter of practice."
