Gold Digger Zombie (黄金矿工僵尸; pinyin: Huángjīn Kuànggōng Jiāngshī) is a zombie in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2, first appearing in the Parallel Universe No. 41 secret realm, introduced in the v3.6.7 update.

He is a combination of Digger Zombie and Gentleman Zombie, absorbing 490 damage just like Digger Zombie and unlike Digger Zombie who digs all the way to the back of the player's defense, he will instead dig 2 tiles ahead everytime he encounters a plant, as well knocking off the plant(s) on the tile he comes out of the ground. As he is no longer able to eat, his ability can only be triggered with plants whom he would be able to eat if he could eat, hence plants such as an armed No. 42 Potato Mine or a No. 41 Spikeweed (or {{PvZ2|Potato Mine]] and Spikeweed outside of Parallel Universe No. 41) won't trigger the aforementioned ability of digging.

Despite his pickaxe being golden, it can still be grabbed by a Magnet-shroom outside of Parallel Universe No. 41.

In English: Gold Digger Zombie The gold has been gone long ago, no one is that stupid. Gold Digger had just aimed his pickaxe at something else. Of course, the gentleman had to prove who was the one digging, and holding the pickaxe would come in useful. Immediately drills into the ground upon encountering a plant, passing 2 tiles of plants, and drilling out, which drilling out will forcibly remove the plant in that tile.

• His name possibly references Gold Miner (黄金矿工), a game from 2003 that was ran on Adobe Flash simulating the mining of gold.
