Gramophone Datura (留声曼陀罗; pinyin: Liú Shēng Màn Tuó Luó) is a plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the v3.5.1 update alongside the Ztalemate Escape gamemode and Crazy Flamevine.

Its ability is quite similar to that of Torchwood's, for each projectile that passes by Gramophone Datura, the said projectile will speed up and simultaneously will cause Gramophone Datura to resonate a soundwave that deals damage in a 3x3 area. If more projectiles pass by, it can eventually resonate a 5x5 soundwave.

As a special functionality, the player can slide the notes present above Gramophone Datura diagonally in order to change the sound note it will produce upon a projectile's passing. All 7 notes are available, that is, Do (red), Re (orange), Mi (yellow), Fa (green), Sol (sky), La (blue), Si (magenta). The player can also tap the plant in order to manually produce the sound notes, essentially allowing the players to compose their own music with Gramophone Datura.

Gramophone Datura is based on the flower of the thornapple, a highly poisonous, vespertine-flowering plant in the genus Datura belonging to the nightshade family; and a phonograph, also called a gramophone, a device for the mechanical and analogue reproduction of recorded sound.
