Iceweed (寒冰地刺; pinyin: Hán Bīng De Cì) is a hybrid plant exclusive to the Creativity Mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition. It is a hybrid of Spikeweed and Ice-shroom.

Iceweed attacks zombies that step on it from below while also slowing them down, rapidly damaging them as well as ignoring specific zombie gears such as a screen door or a ladder. It can additionally puncture tires in exchange of being defeated, and upon defeat, it will freeze all zombies on the lawn for 3 seconds while leaving a chilling effect for 2 seconds after the freeze is over.

Origins

Iceweed originates from the popular Chinese mod 植物大战僵尸杂交版 (Plants vs. Zombies: Hybrid Version), created by 潜艇伟伟迷 (SubmarineWeiWeiPVZ) and his team. In the mod's English translation, it's known as Snow-spikeweed.
