License to Vanquish is a Super Mix Mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. It is a variant of Suburbination where players can only play as Agent Pea on the plants team or Camo Ranger on the zombies team.

Mechanics

This is Suburbination where you can only play as Agent Pea or Camo Ranger. In addition to that, characters explode when destroyed, have only 1 health, and move extremely fast.

Description

Camo Soldiers and Agent Peas are spawning everywhere. Use your speed, wits, and License to Vanquish to come out and prove your special forces rule.

Stay away from others, due to having very low health and exploding when destroyed. You really only need 1 shot to vanquish someone, so hide behind cover and shoot enemies when they come close. Use the super speed to your advantage when you need to run, but beware, for your low health won't help you.

Zombie Stink Clouds are very powerful in this mode, as being in one as an Agent Pea will guarantee being vanquished. It is better to use the default version of the ability than Super Stink Cloud, as the extra damage is useless due to the very low health, while the default ability lasts longer and has a bigger hitbox. When playing as a Camo Ranger, a Zombie Stink Cloud should be thrown at groups of enemies, usually at one of the three Suburbination command posts. To counter a Zombie Stink cloud, fire at the enemy quickly so they explode before they can use the ability. You can also have them miss their stink cloud by using Hyper, or distract them from using the ability by using a Chili Bean Bomb, specifically Dark Bean Bomb, near them.
