From Plants vs. Zombies Wiki
Lightspeed Seed is a super-rare plant superpower trick card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes and a member of the Smarty class. It costs 1 to play, and its ability Conjures two trick cards.
Origins
Its name is a combination of "light speed," a term used for the speed of light, and "seed," referring to the seeds on its design.
Its description references the Star Wars franchise, where lightspeed is a term that refers to the speed starships make a jump to when traveling through hyperspace.

Strategies
With
This trick is similar to Holo-Flora in that it gives you a card advantage. This can be a blessing or curse. It can Conjure powerful tricks such as Wall-Nut Bowling and Squash that could change the game, but weaker ones such as Photosynthesizer and Banana Peel can also be obtained. Additionally, unlike proper drawing mechanics, Conjure can give cards that don't work well with your deck or help with your situation, such as Vegetation Mutation when you aren't running environments.
As for synergies, Light Speed can activate Dino-Roar abilities up to twice, making it useful in combination with the likes of Tricarrotops and Lima-Pleurodon.
Lightspeed Seed does benefit from Captain Cucumber's cost reduction ability, but it is rather inconsistent because he is in the Mega-Grow class. Beta-Carrotina can only normally obtain Captain Cucumber through the use of Photosynthesizer or if the Zombie Hero plays Exploding Fruitcake. As for Green Shadow, who has access to Captain Cucumber, she must Conjure Lightspeed Seed from Bird of Paradise first.
As Lightspeed Seed is a trick that adds two cards, each Quickdraw Con Man present can cause the plant hero to take 2 damage. Defensive End can also increase its cost, and may potentially deter play of any conjured tricks on the same turn, should it be used.
Against
Because of its inconsistency, it can either help the opponent immensely, or do nothing at all. Defensive End can increase its cost, but he is very expensive, and in general is only useful in deterring tricks conjured by it, if he ever gets the chance. Quickdraw Con Man would be a better counter since he can be played early and force the opponent to hold off their play as doing so would cause him to damage them.
