Party Citron Ball is an ability exclusive to Party Citron in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 that automatically replaces the Citron Ball ability. It is a renamed and retextured version of the aforementioned ability, with no difference other than its name, appearance, and description.

Trivia
- It is the second ability to be a renamed and recolored version of an already existing ability, with the first being the Rainbow Heal Beam and the third being the Pizzazzling Potato Mine.
- However, while the other abilities are obtained by buying packs, Party Citron Ball is obtained by unlocking Party Citron and replaces Citron Ball as its "ball" ability.
- Despite technically being a different ability, the Party Citron Ball's ability icon is the same as the default.
- Additionally, when the player vanquishes someone with the Party Citron Ball, their "Vanquished By" section and vanquish feed will only display "Citron Ball".
- This is the second party-exclusive ability, the first being the Explosive Party for the Party Mech.
- The Party Citron Ball also lacks a slot in the Stickerbook.
