The Petal Propeller is a great way to access high-ground as the Cactus, allowing for better map coverage and passing some obstacles. For getting onto higher ground, you can hold the ability button to constantly fly upwards at a slow rate. Moving during the ability causes the ability to end much quicker, so only move when needed.

Petal Propeller can also be used for recovery, most notably if Cactus gets knocked out of bounds by abilities such as Funky Bouncer or Sprint Tackle.
