Rainbow Warp (originally called Rainbow Dash) is an exclusive ability for the Unicorn Chomper. When used, it sends the Unicorn Chomper a short distance forward from one place to another, similar to the Scientist's Warp ability.

Strategies

Treat this like the Scientist's Warp. You can use this to close in on an enemy, or make a fast getaway. With Unicorn Chomper, you can use this to get behind an opponent and chomp them from behind, resulting in an instant vanquish. The only downside is that, unlike Burrow, this cannot attack on its own. Its best to use Goop or Spikeweed to trap opponents, then use Rainbow Warp to get in close and chomp them.

Trivia

• Its original name, Rainbow Dash, might have been a reference to Rainbow Dash, a character from the My Little Pony franchise.
  • This may be further elaborated by how Rainbow Dash in the My Little Pony franchise has an ability to fly extremely quickly, while the Rainbow Dash in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 allows the Unicorn Chomper to dash forward quickly.
• It, the Twilight Warp, Bigger Better Butter and Super Multi Ball are the only special abilities to not be sold by Rux.
  • It and the Twilight Warp are also the only Chomper Burrow abilities to not instantly vanquish zombies from below.
