From Plants vs. Zombies Wiki
- Not to be confused with Sun Bombs, a Brain Buster from Plants vs. Zombies 2.
Sizzle is a premium uncommon plant trick card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes and a member of the
Kabloom class. It costs 3
to play, and its ability does 5 damage to a selected zombie. Its closest zombie counterpart is Cakesplosion.
Origins
Sizzle is designed after Sun Bombs in the exclusive Brain Buster of Far Future in Plants vs. Zombies 2. The word "sizzle" is the hissing sound that is heard when food is cooked or fried.

Strategies
With
Sizzle deals a massive amount of damage for only 3 sun. This allows it to remove many mid to late-game threats like Copter Commando, Walrus Rider, Shieldcrusher Viking, and Zombot Sharktronic Sub, usually before they could interfere, and at a cost advantage too. Generally, it should be played to destroy, or at least cripple zombies with high health, like Gargantuars. Moreover, it can also be played to get rid of Amphibious zombies if you are playing as a hero that lacks Amphibious defenses, such as Captain Combustible.
Sizzle does see competition against Berry Blast, but should not be overlooked. While Berry Blast is much more versatile, it simply doesn't pack the punch Sizzle has. Including both can greatly expand the amount of removal options available.
Against
Sizzle is extremely dangerous with the amount of damage it inflicts and can completely remove a wide variety of cards, unless it is drawn out by something else. Gravestone zombies are a valid option, as Sizzle cannot be used against it on the same turn, though Spudow's access Grave Buster/Blockbuster and Nightcap's Grave Mistake may be problematic. As a damaging trick, Parasol Zombie, Jurassic Fossilhead and Zombie Coach can also deny the opponent from playing it in the first place.
