Spikeweed (地刺; pinyin: De cì) is a Physical Melee plant in Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 3, introduced in the first beta. It costs 100 sun and it deals damage to all grounded enemies that walks on top of it, as well as being ignored by most enemies, with the exception of Dog Walker.

It can fuse with the E.M.Peach to evolve into Electric Spikeweed.

Wall-Nut Defense

Spikeweed can appear in Wall-Nut Defense if a player picks a certain perk that makes a row of Spikweeds spawn to the right of Wall-Nuts.

Tacobility

Spikeweed's tacobility turned its spikes gray, which increased its damage, and allowed it to use its plant food.

Plant Food

Once approximately every 15 seconds Spikeweed could activate its plant food that would damage all non-flying zombies in its lane.

• Prior to Bonk Choy's release Spikeweed was the only Melee class plant in the game.
• Prior to v.1.16.0 Spikeweed was unlocked after beating Wild Campground - Day 4.
