Discussion about Balloon Zombies

I have witnessed that Balloon Zombies can be killed by the fumes from Fume-shrooms and Gloom-shrooms while airborn, but I was wondering if anyone else knew if they are also killed by spores?

Also, while airborn, they are not killed by the "splash" of melons, and therefore aren't slowed down by Ice-Melons.

I'll look into it tomorrow ! if they are hit, that would mean they are anti air too. HellPikachu 21:48, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

Now I've discovered that I was wrong. Some BZs floated right by two Gloom-shrooms that were puffing madly away because of some Imps. They did not die, and they made it all the way to the lawnmowers, despite the fact that I had a Cattail, too. This is why I didn't edit the BZ page itself; I wanted to be sure before I did an edit with incorrect information. KennKong 06:36, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

If it wasn't the Gloom-shrooms that killed the BZs, what was it? It wasn't Cob Cannons; the reason they got as far as the shrooms was that I was out of Cobs at the moment. It wasn't Cattails; I had removed them (and died the next round for my trouble.) What I saw was a batch of BZs (about 6 or 8) floating over Gloom-shrooms that suddenly turned black and disappeared. The balloons didn't pop, the zombies didn't fall. So what happened? KennKong 06:45, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

Which mode were you playing? HellPikachu 10:52, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

Survival Endless. I can provide a screenshot of the setup where the BZs died, and the modified setup one round later that got me killed, if that would help. KennKong 16:36, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

If they blackened and died, it was probably an explosion of some sort, maybe a Jalapeno or something...Are you sure you didn't use an explosive?--RandomguY 05:07, February 5, 2011 (UTC)
