The 20th Secret Realm in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2

ZCorp (Z公司; pinyin: ​Z Gōngsī; lit. translation: "Z Company"), also referred to as ZCorp Takeover (Z公司大收购; pinyin: Z Gōngsī Dà Shōugòu; lit. translation: "Z Company's Grand Takeover"), is the twentieth Secret Realm released in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 and the second Secret Realm to be permanently available in the Secret Realms mode. It was released with the v3.8.4 update on September 24th, 2025 and launched for playability on September 26th, 2025.

This Secret Realm is themed around companies and corporations, featuring the lawn and the zombies of the ZCorp Takeover event from the international version of Plants vs. Zombies 2, with two additional zombies from the international version also being exclusive to this Secret Realm, those being Blastronaut Zombie and Z-Mech, with the latter serving as the elite zombie of this Secret Realm.

This Secret Realm features two new exclusive gimmicks, those being the Robot Vacuum (扫地机器人) and the Printer (打印机):

• Robot Vacuum: Bunch of paper litter will be pre-placed on the lawn alongside a small robotic vacuum cleaner, with the purpose of cleaning up the paper litter from the lawn as the paper litter can not be planted on while it exists in the tile. The player can control the Robot Vacuum to coordinate the paper litter clean-up, and additionally can hit the Robot Vacuum with electric attacks in order to speed the Robot Vacuum for a period of time.
• Printer: An undestroyable printer will be pre-placed at a specific tile of the lawn for the rest of the level, with the purpose of tossing A4 papers at plants which instantly fold and trap the plants in a paper ball, similarly to the octopi of Octo Zombie, and in order to the release the plants from the paper trap the paper ball must be hit 5 times (regardless of how much damage each hit does), or alternatively be hit 1 time but with a fire attack. The printer can not be planted on, and will actively toss the A4 papers at plants every once in a while repeatedly.

Levels

This Secret Realm features a Normal Mode and a Hard Mode, the former allowing the player to accumulate rewards from playing the levels but also by completing the assigned objectives of the levels, while the latter allowing the player to pick their level modifiers of choice in exchange of 1 to 3 historical stars per level modifier, with the historical stars being redeemable for rewards in the respective level's reward-redemption menu.

The levels of the Normal Mode unlock ordinarily one after another upon the completion of the levels, while the levels of the Hard Mode unlock based on the amount of days passed from the moment the player unlocks Hard Mode, with 2 levels unlocking daily.

Trivia

• This Secret Realm was first announced on March 31st, 2024 on a livestream of the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2, stating the release of it in a subsequent update. It was later on announced to be released in the Spring of 2025, but it was delayed due to high interest on the Parallel Universe series as the Parallel Universe No. 42 Secret Realm was positively received, hence delaying the ZCorp Secret Realm in favor of the Parallel Universe No. 41 Secret Realm.
• Despite Scaredy-shroom being listed as a plant of this Secret Realm on the official website of the game, it is not present in any of the levels of this Secret Realm, nor is it given as a reward.
• A zombie exclusive to this Secret Realm was teased on the official website of the game but scrapped for reasons unknown, and it is unknown as to whether it would be another port from the international version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 or a new unique zombie.^{[citation needed]}
