Beating the quest for the first time rewards the player with 10,000 coins, 25 Marshmallows, a Medal, the Lullaby Tape.
Origins
The name "Be Kind, Rewind" originates from stickers placed on VHS tapes in most major rental chains that read some variation of "Be Kind, Please Rewind", encouraging renters to rewind the video cassette before returning it for the convenience of the next renter.

Trivia
- Washy himself cannot be interacted with under normal means, such as shooting at him. However, using the Engineer's "Seismic" upgrade, you can actually push Washy around. This will either leave Washy to return to the location that he previously was at before getting pushed or continue back to the objective. If you were to push Washy into the water that vanquishes the player, you would get Washy stuck in the water, and would have to die to restart.
