Technically, Gloom-shroom costs 225 total sun for you to get him, excluding the Coffee Bean required to wake him up in the day. To be fair, he does Phat Beet's job almost 4 times better.

Except for the fact that Phat Beet is far more practical at 150 sun and fast recharge, unlike Gloom-shroom who is 225 sun total and very slow recharge.

I planted 7 Cob Cannons on a single roof level, and even with the added sun from the sky, they cost much more compared to Gloom-shrooms in the night. Also, G-s is useful even in the day, also is Fume-shroom, while neither Kernel-pult nor CC are useful in the night.
