Zoybean is the first things that's not a rehash since aloe two years ago. Its ability is pretty fun to use, even tho its quite weak.

My dude, Zoybean is pretty much a Hypno-shroom/Caulipower but it MAKES """hypnotized""" zombies for you instead of getting existing zombies onto your side.

That literally is the reaosn why it is new as it "makes" instead of "hypnotising".

Did you ever stop to think all the lobbed plants are the same except they throw different projectiles or that every straight shooting plants are same but just shoots different things? If you consider Zoypod as same then all the above are same and if you consider all the above as different then Zoypod is different.

The difference is that Zoypod doesn't need a Zombie to do its ability with the drawback of only being able to use the basic trio.

It isn't the most unique but at least it isn't "mint powerup" or "peashooter that is based on another mint powerup family". Though that'd include Dazey Chain but really that's just a Peashooter that isn't actually a Peashooter with a cruddy effect that only activates 3 times.

I think dazey chain is just bad tbh. Plants that don't affect an unlimited amount of zombies (like dusklobber or cold snapdragon) are pretty useless in tough levels.
