They're also making the new Chomper variant locked behind the online pay, with having to vanquish enough people online to get it. That, or buy a pack later or having the Unicorn Chomper.
And apparently yes, while it is a reskin of the Unicorn Chomper in DESIGN, it isn't 100% the Unicorn Chomper.
Why, oh why, did PopCap have to inherit EA's business practices? I know that paywall/microtransaction stuff was always there, but it seems like it's been getting more and more noticeable in GW. With the new variant basically being a reskin of the Unicorn Chomper and the new modes being in the portal only, it really seems like they're half-assing the new content updates and are only doing them to appease people who wanted more content. Am I the only one getting that vibe? Like they don't really care as much anymore?
