Has anyone noticed the purple masks the zombies have? Add this with the plants' colour change....something's going on here.
that's obviously the effect of the shadow shroom's poison...............
So it's in all the zombies' textures then? Or does Shadow-shrooom only poison those two?
All zombies.
Proof please.
Is there any logic in your statement? do you really think shadow shroom would ONLY poision two zombies out of every zombie, that would make him kind of(totally) useless. Also this only shows the textures for MD stuff, if anyone showed all zombie textures this would appear.
That was sarcasm. But don't balloon zombies fly over plants and not eat them?Maybe that's not the poison...

But, what triggers  the new plants' shadow mode?

Moon flower

I'm disapointed with shadow-shroom, too similair to chili bean, I wanted long range shooting toxic plant.

I think that Shadow-Shroom will infect the whole lawn when he's charged. So it's upgraded Chili Bean without some of it's properties like stunning.
