This is the end? THIS? Of course nobody affirmed that the game ends with Modern Day, but anyways I do not understand why PopCap decided to make such world. We return to the times we started, and then we get a bunch of new plants with 'shadow' nechanic. I don't say they're bad, but wasn't it easier just to transfer plants fron first game? I'm sure everyone was waiting for PvZ 1 plants (Pumpkin, Doom-shroom), but what did they do?
They wanted to make a mix of all worlds, but why in modern times? I had hundreds of thoughts how they could do that, ex. Time Twister with unique lawn, but they chose this and didn't manage to make it a bit interesting. If we get some gimmick in a level, then it's the only one. I imagined lawn having tombsones, minecarts, ice winds and tiles on one level, but they choose one of them and just put random zombies.
The stupidest thing is plants. I mentioned this above but wanna repeat:
1. Why new plants in the times we get off?
2. Why no plants from original game?
3. Why Thyme Warp, Gold Leaf and others still can't be used?!!! *facepalm*
At least they remembered about the zombies, still I don't like how they changed them.
And why so fast? We've got JM Part 2 in December, the next month comes Modern Day. Part 2 goes right after Part 1. Why so rushed? Where are they running? They want to finish PvZ 2 and work at GW2? My opinion is that GW line is not half as good as original line (PvZ and PvZ 2).
And even final (?) world is made in two parts, nothing interesting or astonishing. Just two more Zomboss battles, that's it?
We'll see how this is going to happen. But if it's the end (please no!), it's the worst end of the wonderful game.
I think it could be that or it;s simply there for decoration because they are actually finishing the game and don't want to have the upcoming world logo there.
