I played Jurassic Marsh - Day 39 (the massive attack)  for the first time on my leveling account. Upon victory, I was rewarded with a MYSTERY GIFT BOX. And it gave me a costume. Does Day 39 award a Mystery Box for the first time (because the way you worded makes it seem like it doesn't)? This is also because I seem to remember they replaced all Mystery Boxes on the map with Pinatas.

You are correct. All Mystery Gift Boxes were removed from the game (with the exception of Vasebreaker it seems). If you check the map, there is a pinata in place as the reward. So as to why I was rewarded with this instead, I can't legitimately say. I believe it was most likely an oversight that they just forgot to replace.

Aww, I liked the costumes. What the hell Popcap?!
