Alright, time for a rant.

I've really been ticked off at the moment about many things. But out of all of them, this game's difficulty is completely stupid. No, not that it's too easy, or not that it's too hard. But how they portray the difficulty.

Think of the first game. How simple it was, you had basic zombies, conehead zombies. And then bucketheads, football zombies. All these tough or speedy zombies were the true challenge of the game. And taking them down, let alone five of them in a lane, was truly satisfying to do. Because the plants weren't OP, and the zombies were also not OP. The game had that sweet balance and it relied more on less zombies but more scary ones to truly make a great experience.

PVZ 2 Destroys that entirely! First of all, zombies are not basic at all in terms of difficulty. And most of them are painstakingly easy, aside from a few devilish ones. And how do they make up for this? Just spamming twenty thousand zombies to try and make them seem like a threat. Sure, menacing-in-packs esque zombies make it work. But if EVERY, SINGLE, TOUGH zombie has to be a threat when there's fifty in a row? Even with basic-level plants (think of a peashooter at level 5). They are still destroyed by OP plants. Non-premium, there's at least fifty sets you can create which will wreck all of the zombies. And with premium plants? Oh brother. The zombie spamming is only a problem on expansions, but the plants, not so much.

One last thing. Which dingus thought it was a good idea to limit the level cap when it's 100% finished? So we can half-wreck all of the pathetically made zombies here? God sake.
