Power Lily, and Explosives - For many strong zombies

Squash - Good for early zombie-killing when you need to save some sun to plant more Sunflowers in the beginning.

Ghost Pepper - Good for damaging multiple zombies in a small area.

Sun-producing plants - For quick sun in the beginning
