FC or Ice Age isn't prehistoric era. The real prehistoric era took place in approximately the same time where dinosaurs existed.
Actually the ice age was during the era of the Stone Age there was about 5 different stages of the Stone Age and the ice age was one of then after that came bronze age then iron

Actually Prehistory is anything that happened before the invention of writing, so the Ice Age (or more specifically one of the ice ages) and the time period where dinosaurs existed are both part of the prehistoric era.

Besides, dinosaurs and humans were never alive at the same time, but then again this is a video game so that doesn't matter, but I would personally prefer some more time-accurate animals appearing in a potential Prehistoric era level in PvZ2, like Saber-tooth tigers or Mammoths. Although I do think it would be cool if the Zomboss robot for this world was a T-Rex (because Zomboss' robots don't have to be accurate to the time period).
