Yes, that's exactly what happened there, except that it will spawn behind it, not in front of it.

Meanwhile, my Cornucopia spawns String Beans and Sunflowers every single time :/ . Except for the Amphibious Lane. I swear, I always get Brainanas and Great Zucchinis in that lane.
