Now really the game's concept has just... died. The creativity, the cuteness, the level design, EA killed it all. The game gets repetitive after 10 days of a world. Firing George Fan was a terrible idea, and you can tell who made the Coconut Cannon, the Bonk Choy, the Bloomerang and then you would know who creates those stupid looking plants such as Shrinking Violet or the weird-animation Electric Peashooter.
The Primal plants, the Snapfreeze, etc. are all idiotic ideas. George Fan agreeing with EA was dumb. Plants used to be far more creative and better. The old roster is superior to the current one.
2ndly, EA giving access to cheap Chinese game developers was bad. It damages the reputation of the games. Journey to the West and Great Wall Edition are what I'm talking about. PvZ is a great concept, it cannot be stopped by the "PvZ-1 styled Laser Bean" giving a bad image of the series.
So not only how cheap the game is, PvZ1 was full of jokes. PvZ2 is full of obscene jokes and ones that aren't funny or any cool references or any of that.
Additionally, the plant designs are cheap, they're just puns and nothing else. Half the soundtrack is cheap remixes, Frostbite Caves had the worst song ever to be thought of and Jurassic Marsh is just scary how cheap it is. The game doesn't bother on making anything new.
I love the game it's challening but it also doesn't respect the original game. The 1st one is way superior.
Quite a strong opinion there. I think most people would agree that newer plants like Shrinking Violet are pretty cool and original, however I do have to agree with you on the Electric Peashooter thing.
Creative? You hate the idea of Cold Snapdragon, but totally love the Winter Melon? okay.
"cheap" Chinese developers? The ones who brought you the Chinese PvZ2? Not very cheap if you ask me

Plant designs have always been cheap, dumb puns, like Peashooter literally being a gun that shoots peas. No idea why you're complaining now. Looks like you only listened to the first little bit of the Jurassic Marsh theme. And what do you mean, "nothing new"? The entire game is new! You look at Ancient Egypt to Neon Mixtape Tour and tell me that's not new and original.
tl;dr some guy making bad points about things applicable to the first game too.
I think PvZ2 Chinese isn't that ugly, just my opinion
can we ask popcap to add kung fu world and sky city to the english version?
