Dave-bot 3000.1

Dave-bot 3000.1 is an NPC character that appears in Backyard Battleground in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. He appears to be a robot with Crazy Dave's face put onto it. The Dave-bot 3000.1 gives out quests to the player. He is located under the garage after the original Dave-bot 3000 is destroyed.

In the first mission, Dave-bot 3000.1 tells the player that today is L.E.A.F. Day and that Crazy Dave has brought presents for all of the L.E.A.F. Agents, including Dave-bot 3000.1. However, Agent Stumpy reported to Dave-bot that the zombies are attempting to ruin the celebration by stealing the presents. The mission begins by checking out Agent Citron's gift before battling the pirates and defending the gifts for a certain amount of time. You defend the Agent's gifts in the following order: Citron, Kernel Corn and Rose. After completing this quest, Crazy Dave told the player that the pirates stole Dave-bot's gift and ordered the player to head to the docks. However, it was too late, as the pirates escaped with Dave-bot's gift.

The second mission has the Player(s) go to Sandy Shores to make a garden, then you must defend it for 5 waves. At the boss wave, you’ll encounter two Gargantuars, then there will be a sixth wave where you recieve Dave-bot's present. However, inside is Captain Smasher, who can't be vanquished, so you have to survive for one minute and a half.

The third mission is a Boss Hunt where you will have to defeat Captain Smasher.

In the fourth mission, you’ll be promoted to the status of L.E.A.F agent.

In the fifth mission, you will be sent to Infinity Time in the Junkasaurus to fight against the Gnomes.

• Despite being named Dave-bot 3000.1, Crazy Dave refers to him as Dave-bot 3000. He also looks identical to the original Dave-bot.
  • However, the Dave-bot 3000.1 himself says that the ".1" is silent.
• Dave-bot 3000.1 said that Crazy Dave hates cats, as he mentions this password: 123CrazyDaveHatesCats.
  • This is also the reason why Dr. Zomboss built his Infinity Robot to look like a cat.
• Dave-bot 3000.1 doesn't actually have a hitbox, meaning that players can walk through him.
