Description

Apparently, in version 7.0.1, Popcap added a useful feature that allows you to select your favorite plants at the menu top instead of having to scroll down.

However, as demonstrated in this video, a glitch can occur when using the feature with Imitater.

Normally, when you deselect Imitater, his seed packet just heads back to where it would be and nothing odd happens.

In this case, what I did is to select him after choosing Gold Bloom then favorite him. I then unfavorite him and then deselected him.

The funny thing is that when I deselected him, the original seed packet (which is greyed out because you already selected it) became available for use again. So I selected the available seed packet and you can tell, I have gotten a second copy of the seed packet.

This also means that you can do the glitch again, allowing you to have basically 6 copies of sunflowers or maybe 4 potato mines. It's very handy for the plants that need about 60 seconds to recharge like cherry bombs and gold bloom.

Here is how you perform the glitch: 1. Select any plant you want to clone. 2. Use Imitater to clone the plant. 3. This is important. Favorite Imitater. Then unfavorite him. 4. Select his seed packet to return him back to the plant menu selection.

There you go. The plant you cloned is also available for selection from the plant selection menu.

Disclaimers: 1. The glitch only works for the current level you are playing. It does not carry over into other levels. (So using the recall option does not work) 2. Although I have favorited the Gold Bloom, I have tested and confirmed it also works with plants that you have not favorited (although you might have to scroll up and down). 3. I'm not certain if you can get banned from Battlez if you try this glitch so if you do so there, use at your own risk. I'm not responsible if you automatically get banned for using this glitch.
