Abilities in Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars were unique for each plant. Each plant had 1 active ability and 2 passive ones, which were unlocked through evolution. Active skills could be activavted by player when plant had enough wrath, while passive ones didn't require activation and were influencing the battle despite player's intenitions.

Some abilities were also passively buffing that plant characteristics.

Almost all abilites could be upgraded via Star Leveling system with that plant puzzle pieces to increase its efficiency. All stats shown in this table are specific to LVL 1 abilites.

Hazelnut I Hazelnut line Ability1.png Purifying Treatment Heals all plants and removes all negative effects from them. Heal +211 Active
II Hazelnut line Ability2.png Converting Cure Upon a normal attack gets a chance to convert negative effect, applied to another plant, into a positive one. Converting efficiency +74 Passive
III Hazelnut line Ability3.png Negative Resistance Gets a 20% chance to ignore a negative effect. None Passive
Radish I Radish line Ability1.png Therapy Hand Heals three plants with the lowest health during the course of 2 turns. Heal +253 Active

III Radish line Ability3.png Resurrection Ressurects the first killed plant with 600 health.
This ability can only be activated once per level.
