Reward-O-Tron 9000
The Reward-O-Tron 9000 is a feature in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, serving as the replacement for the system of the Sticker Shop from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Like the Sticker Shop, it is located in both bases in Giddy Park. Unlike the Sticker Shop, it cannot be interacted with anywhere else.
Capsules are the items deployed by the Reward-O-Tron 9000. It costs 15,000 coins to receive one capsule of a random rarity from the Reward-O-Tron 9000. Capsules can contain one Emote, Victory Slab, or Customization item. Items received from Capsules can only be received from the Reward-O-Tron 9000.
In the Nintendo Switch Edition of the game, items from the Reward-O-Tron 9000 can also be bought from Rux, though at varying prices, depending on the rarity.
Overview
The Reward-O-Tron 9000 is an extremely enlarged Gumball Machine, though Capsules are delivered from the top of the machine. The words "Mr. Reward-O-Tron 9000" are displayed on the front of the jar. The machine itself is connected to a large red button via a cable.
Rarity
Capsules given by the Reward-O-Tron 9000 have differing rarities, which affect their probability of being received. The rarities are as follows:
- Common - these items are depicted in a blue-green card and deploy blue-green fireworks before being received.
- Rare - these items are depicted in a dark green card and deploy dark green fireworks before being received.
- Super Rare - these items are depicted in a purple card and deploy more fireworks than common or rare items.
- Legendary - these items are depicted in a gold card, launch multi-colored fireworks before being received, and launch the most fireworks overall. Additionally, brain comets will zoom across the card.
