Another senseless revert!

I'm beginning to wonder about the people who edit this wiki. I corrected a garmmatical error on this page (the way it read, it said that Crazy Dave's car boot is the protagonist of Bookworm), only for it to be reverted as an "un-needed[sic] change"! Of course it was needed (for the reason explained above), otherwise I wouldn't have made it!

Hence I've re-reverted the revert. — RobertATfm (talk) 17:34, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

It is unneeded. It already says his name, and it does not need to say it twice.Moon Snail the Cattail Fan. Speak to me IF YOU DARE! A blog about nothing at all 19:02, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

It was needed. As originally phrased, the sentence read "A figure of Lex was seen also in the car trunk, which is the protagonist of Bookworm, another game by PopCap." In other words, the car trunk is the protagonist of Bookworm. I see that the entry has now been rephrased to remove the need to split the sentence or to repeat the name, which is a far more sensible way of doing it than to just revert the edit without considering why it was done in the first place. — RobertATfm (talk) 19:52, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

You completely ignored my reason. I said you do NOT need to place his name twice.Moon Snail the Cattail Fan. Speak to me IF YOU DARE! A blog about nothing at all 21:13, December 31, 2012 (UTC)

I didn't ignore your reasoning. As I pointed out in my reply above, the way the sentence was phrased originally made it necessary for the name to be repeated in order to resolve the ambiguity. I know some people are averse to using a name twice in short order, but this is a question solely of style, and like most such questions is not universally agreed upon. — RobertATfm (talk) 23:08, December 31, 2012 (UTC)
