No, this plant is pretty lame, considering the price you currently pay for it, and pretty typical of EACap.  FF levels are not hard with most any plants.  If you pay seven bucks for one piece of content, it better be good.  NMT Day 31 pretty much demonstrates why it isn't; the plant will steal free Spore-shrooms from you killing dying zombies in the back columns but not the Gargantuar in front of it. 

Basic zombies are not the reason why some players need pay-to-win, the specialist zombies/Gargs are and, of course, this plant will spend most of its time literally ignoring them.   In other words EACap wants you to pay through the nose for a new plant, but not for a plant so good that most players won't need to pay to win anymore, and so they came up with this flashy thing best described as "Fake OP".  It's pretty shady and stuff like this is why PvZ2 will be the greatest game ever not become a classic.
