It's just under BWB Day 16 pay-to-win nonsense. It's very doable, including with no plant food, it's just that the game cannot stiff you on plants and the Primal Peashooters cannot fail with their shots or you will lose (even WITH plant food on high difficulties). The key is to memorize when and where the dinos appear (so basically, trial-and-error, and luck, two things a game shouldn't do).
