Strategy 2 is based on luck, because if dinosaurs support zombies successfully, the game becomes pretty harder. The large amout of Jurassic Imps can easily detonate your Primal Potato Mines, making much more dangerous zombies like Jurassic Rockpunchers safe. And Ankylosauruses can make zombies go beyond the Celery Stalker as well as Primal Potato Mines, and push your Wall-nut in the third column, triggering the game's end. You might need to play several times.
