well, 4/4 is quite a lot, see, and if it's going to take out a key zombie or do serious damage to your hero, it may not be a bad idea to use tricks to take it out. Bean Counter is super-rare and maybe not show up in every bean deck, and rocket science and cakesplosion are uncommon and thus quite plentiful, so I suppose it's ok to use some of those in a pinch. In addition, Brainana is sun-intensive and again doesn't show up in many decks due to its rarity, and anyway magic beanstalks can be played much earlier than a Brainana. Bottom line, they may be spammable, but they are dangerous and may merit a destroying trick. There are always more threatening things, but they are counterbalanced by their rarity, so you needn't worry about Bean Counter or Brainana ambushes every turn.
