When Marigolds stop producing

I wanted to grow my tree of wisdom to 1000 feet, and was too lazy to tend the Zen Garden to get it that way. I thought that I would take my Seeing Stars Forever setup, add Marigolds and Gold-magnets and let her rip. Unfortunately, the game must think it's always on the final wave, because both the zombies and marigolds stop producing after a short while.

Can anyone else tell me a way of unattended perpetual gold mining?

Doesn't seem to exist, to my knowledge. Survival endless works well though, though it certainly needs to be attended, and I believe the problem is that marigolds just stop producing a certain time into the game, not necessarily the final wave. But I'm not sure,--RandomguY 04:05, May 13, 2011 (UTC)
