Contributions
I’ve contributed a lot to the PvZ community, especially among the Chinese community, especially from 2015 to 2018.
- I was an active and well-known member of the PvZ 2 Community in China. I have been the moderator of two forums on Baidu Tieba, and I had the pleasure to have been the leader of the PvZ2 Tieba twice, in 2015 and 2016–17.
- I am the author of the PvZ 2 Encyclopaedia (“PvZ 2 大百科”), a series of detailed reference work of the Plants, Zombies, grid items and gimmicks of PvZ 2 (the international version) and is written in Chinese. I started working on the series since 2014 (the Third edition), and I have managed to complete four editions so far. The most widely read one was the Fifth Edition (2016), based on the 5.6.1 version. The Sixth Edition, a complete rework, is in the process.
- I was a pioneer in localising the international version of the game into Chinese. In 2015, I was involved in a localisation team called Citrus, where I was the one who translated all the script in the game by the time. Most of the localisation scripts that are currently used in the Chinese community, to my knowledge, was based on the aforementioned one by me.
- Parallel to these works above, I also translated the names of the Plants, Zombies and Maps to Chinese upon their release. Many of them were well received because of my activity on Tieba, my script and my Encyclopaedia. Some were even adopted by the Chinese version.
- Because of my contributions in the community I also became a so-called ‘elite player’ – acting as a player representative in the community established by Talkweb, and I was active from 2018 to 2019. I witnessed the development of Steam Ages and Renaissance Age during the role.
- I introduced DFPOP2 as the Chinese equivalent of Cafeteria, the font used in PvZ 2.
- I was notorious for translating the Chinese-exclusive Plants and Zombies into English, of which there have been controversies.
- I was the author of some concepts of Steam Ages, including Drosecles, Ladder Zombie and Cylinder Zombie, and I have caused some misconceptions in the community where many thought these concepts were official.

- My favourite Plant is Caulipower, and my favourite Hero in PvZ Heroes is Nightcap.
- My favourite characters include Remilia Scarlet, Scathach (Fate), Morgan (Fate), Narita Taishin (Umamusume).
- I’m both a dog person and a cat person. I especially like German shepherd, Golden retriever and border collie. I like grey tabbies. I also like foxes and fruit bats.
- My profile picture is Saika Sakurakouji. I forgot why I used him as my profile picture.
