Plant Rankings

• Peashooter: 6/10: Only useful in early levels, but you replace it with Cabbage-pult soon.
• Sunflower: 10/10: Extremely useful, it's totally useful in Daytime levels.
• Cherry Bomb: 8/10: Really useful for blowing up zombies in a 3x3 area.
• Wall-nut: 5/10: A bit useful. It makes a useful plant for delaying zombies at the beginning of the game, but Tall-nut is better.
• Potato Mine: 7.5/10: Useful in the beginning of a level. The only disadvantage is that it takes time to arm itself.
• Snow Pea: 7/10: Very useful for most levels. After beating Adventure, Winter Melon replaces it, but not too often, since Winter Melon is expensive.
• Chomper: 2/10: Worst plant!!! It chomps 1 zombie per 42 seconds.
• Repeater: 8/10: Shoots 2 peas every 1.4 seconds and are cheaper than many other offensive plants, so this plant is very useful for most levels.
• Puff-shroom: 9/10: It's terribly difficult to beat nighttime levels without these. Good for delaying zombies too.
• Sun-shroom: 8/10: The substitute of Sunflower during the night. However, it is immature when planted.
• Fume-shroom: 7.5/10: Good against several zombies, thanks to the fumes that pass through zombies.
• Grave Buster: 8/10: Night levels become harder without this
• Hypno-shroom: 4.5/10: Worse than Squash! More expensive than Squash and can only hypnotize 1 zombie.
