User blog:Adrian Conover/Why I hate the PvZ Discord

I decided to make this clear because of how much I was rambling about this too much, but I'll explain it further.

At first, I did really like the PvZ Discord, it was a bit convenient. You know, playing around with the bot system, joking around with usernames, and making the user ship of the century, Jack X Electric Plants. It was really funny.

However, after time passed, the wiki started breaking apart. 4 of our admins left, the lawn completely got killed, but I didin't care. But I also had problems too, like I was forced to stop using Steam to talk to Elemec, and we were kinda "bros" at that time. I didin't really care though, as he was at the Wiki chat, and we talked alot about Adventure Quest Worlds, and he helped me with the game itself.

However, more time passed, and the wiki itself killed to the point of nothingness, and Elemec himself left. I was mad at Discord, because after the wiki channel was made, it slowly killed the wiki, our admins, and now the only friend I actually talked and had things in common. I even left to the point I asked BP to block myself to edit somewhere else.

I hate Discord, and people be like "STOP BLAMING THE F**KING DISCORD CHANNEL IT'S THE USERS" and "Discord is way more convenient" every time I say something about the whole EFFECT it had on the wiki itself. Look, I'm on fine terms with Discord itself, and Elemec and I use it sometimes to contact about AQW, but this wiki channel, UGH. It tore our wiki apart, caused so many good users to leave, and people try to tell me to stop blaming it. What if I said that before Discord, it was fine huh? None of this happened? I hope you're happy. Happy about how it split our community apart.
