Hidden in the mists of Asia lies the L.E.A.F. Dojo, where plants practice the ancient arts of Mushroom-Fu and other secret techniques. But everything changed when the Zombie nation attacked. This world is based on China's Kung-Fu level, and features weapon racks that can turn zombies into special warriors.


Plants:

Tiger Lily

  • Sun Cost: 275
  • Tiger Lily attacks with her sharp claws, and her roars sends zombies running in terror.
  • Family: Var-mint
  • Appearance: A cross between Shrinking Ultra-Violet and Savage Spinach
  • Tiger Lily makes sure to blossom anew every year. "Never change my stripes? Do I look like a zebra to you?"

Tiger Lily attacks any adjacent tiles. She occasionally roars, which sends zombies running in the other direction. Be warned though, this means zombies behind her move faster!

Sugar Crane

  • Sun Cost: 225
  • Sugar Crane sends slices of air down a lane with his wings, damaging zombies
  • Special: Flies down a lane during strong winds, damaging all zombies
  • Family: Var-mint
  • Appearance: Similar to Bird of Paradise
  • "Cut the wind, and the eagle won't fly." says Sugar Crane wisely. "Cut the sugar, and it will grow anew."

Sugar Crane is a good standard plant that becomes excellent when paired with with Blover or Hurrikale. The stronger the wind the better the damage, so Hurrikale is the best of them all!

Monkey Lime

  • Sun Cost: 125
  • Monkey Lime attacks short range with his bo-staff
  • Special: Deflects projectiles flying left
  • Family: Var-mint
  • Appearance: Similar to Monkeyfuit (PvZ2 Chinese)
  • Monkey Lime has always wanted to visit the southern tip of Florida. Something about it just calls to him.

Monkey Lime is great against zombies that throw projectiles like Jester, but his most unique use is returning projectiles from backwards-shooting plants. Pair him up with Starfruit or Split Pea and watch the fun!

Vipersimmon

  • Sun Cost: 100
  • Vipersimmon appears out of Spikeweeds to deal extra damage
  • Family: Var-mint
  • Appearance: A persimmon with a long, thin, tail-like bottom, leading up to a plump head with snake fangs and two leaves forming a cobra hood
  • Special: Can tunnel to attack out of Spikeweed plants
  • Vipersimmon always wonders what would happen if she bit herself. But she's not gonna chance it. I mean, would you risk it if you were her?

Whenever a zombie walks across Spikeweed (or a similar plant) Vipersimmon will cover herself in her leaves, lay flat, then magically appear from inside the weeds, dealing extra poison damage.

Papayaing Mantis

  • Sun Cost: 100
  • Papaying Mantis attacks in a short range, occasionally knocking zombies backwards into other zombies
  • Family: Var-mint
  • Appearance: Similar to Pokra (has two slices of fruit for tendrils)
  • Papayaing Mantis is always vying with Pokra to be the representative of the preying mantis. No else gets the rivalry over being associated with a bug. "It's my thing." he insists.

Papayaing Mantis is similar to a cross between Pokra and Primal Peashooter.

Var-mint

  • Sun Cost: 0
  • Boosts Var-Mint plants (Tiger Lily, Sugar Crane, Monkey Lime, Vipermission, Papayaing Mantis, Guacodile, Kiwibeast)
  • Appearance: Mint with a raccoon face and stripes with raccoon paws for arms
  • Somewhere out in the multiverse, he is a hog named Pig-mint


Zombies (Based on PvZ2 Chinese version)

Bamboo-Pole Zombie

  • Can deflect projectiles with his bamboo pole (similar to Jester)
  • Comes in standard, Conehead, and Buckethead varieties
  • Weakness: Monkey Lime

Archer Zombie

  • Shoots arrows
  • Comes in standard, Conehead, and Buckethead varieties
  • Weakness: Monkey Lime returns arrows, Sugar Crane knocks arrows out of the sky

Battle Armor Zombie

  • Heavy armor resists heat and cold, cuts plants extra fast with his sword
  • Health: Undying
  • Weakness: Vipermission poison, Papayaing Mantis knocks him back

Chinese Vampire Zombie

  • Travels into lane as a ball of shadowy energy, appearing at your first plant
  • Health: Sturdy
  • Weakness: Tiger Lily

This level also features weapon racks that that turn normal zombies into Bamboo-pole, Archer, or Battle Armor zombies
