1)Chomper: Eats zombies EXTREMELY SLOW! Like, a zombie per 42 SECONDS! Only good in 5-5 and Homerun Derby.
2)Threepeater: 3 Peashooters are better.
3)Plantern: Blovers are better. Only useful in Vasebreaker and It's Raining Seeds, where Blovers come less often than Planterns.
4)Cactus: Blovers are WAY better.
5)Starfuit: Overcosted. And the only plant THAT DOESN'T SHOOT STRAIGHT!
6)Magnet-shroom: Too many zombies to magnet things.
7)Marigold: Gives you money, sure, but silver coins most of the time. And wastes space.
8)Cattail: Stupid. Shoots only at 1 or 2 zombies, then when it dies, spikes are wasted.
9)Gold Magnet: Stupid space waster. Only collect coins while YOU can collect it.
