For Q3, on the IOS port of the game, you can destroy ladders on pumpkins using the shovel without removing the pumpkin. If you dig up the plant in the pumpkin, the ladder will go away as well for some reasom.

Also, one quick inaccuracy: Mr. Stubbins is the pet of a minor character in the comics named Greg-Gantuar, not Zomboss. Good quiz, though.
