Milesprower2 – A two-tailed Brony! TALK – CONTRIBS – BLOG Chomper can only kill one zombie very 42 seconds in PvZ1, or every 36 seconds in PvZ2. It takes several minutes to pay for itself, and Squashes are overall more effective, because they recharge faster than the Chomper chews. As if all that wasn't enough, level 5-5/Bungee Blitz is only difficult because the only damaging plants you get are Chompers and Cherry Bombs. If it gave some long-ranged attackers too, it wouldn't be so insanely frustrating. As for Bonk Choys, while they can attack backwards, they cost only a bit less than a Repeater and can't take out a Conehead alone. Even with defensive plants, they aren't as effective as the short-ranged Snapdragon, as Snapdragon hits multiple rows and has crowd control for less cost.

If a plant needs other plants to be really effective, then I like it. But if a plant needs other plants just to be kind of useful, like Chomper and Bonk Choy, then I hate it.

Starfruity – Wiki veteran and Starfruit enthusiast! TALK – CONTRIBS – BLOG It wasn't that it was without power-ups, but rather without coins. There used to be a bug where you could get infinite free power-ups, so I would get a ton of them and use them all up on Zomboss. :P
