Affiliation

What do you mean, affiliates? If you want assistance in how to use whatever functions, you can ask, but I am not in a position to help with edits to your wiki, and I won't advertise it on this wiki. If you want, I guess you could go to individual users to request help, but it won't be official.--RandomguY 05:36, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

I was not aware of any affiliate statuses granted to any wikis by this one (and it is in fact the first time I heard of such an incident). However, I note that Plants vs Zombies is pretty cross-platform; I myself have only the PC version. Therefore, I don't feel that it is sufficient justification for affiliation to say that we are both iOS games, which isn't even really correct. While I suppose it might mutually increase traffic, and while this wiki is not quite in prime condition, unless there is more of a connection between our wikis than what I can see right now (which is that both of them can be played on smartphones or similar), I see no reason to set up an affiliation the same way you would not look for some arbitrary startup wiki and ask for an affiliation.--RandomguY 06:23, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
I did not intend to call your wiki an arbitrary startup wiki, I was talking about how YOU would not go looking for an arbitrary startup wiki (or even an older one) for an affiliation. If you are in fact doing so, I suppose this point is moot, but I would assume you are not. And once again, I was not responsible for the apparent affiliation with iOS Gaming Wiki, and was not aware of it in the first place before you informed me of it. And I am fine with agreeing to disagreeing, and I will not contest it if Swampert Rox decides to agree for an affiliation, but do note his last contribution was in April. And while I have not done much research at all, I note that your main page claims that Mega Jump is an app for the iPhone and Android, which is not nearly as cross-platform as Plants vs Zombies. --RandomguY 01:59, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
And as a clarification, when I talk about an "arbitrary startup wiki", I merely mean that your wiki has little or no link whatsoever to theirs.--RandomguY 02:02, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
"At this time" referred to the time of writing of that message, hence the addenda.--RandomguY 06:09, January 3, 2012 (UTC)
