American Suburbs - Day 1 is the first level of American Suburbs in Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars. The player is introduced to the Zombie and the Pole Vaulting Zombie. This is the first main tutorial level.

Crazy Dave: Look, the plant's energy bar is refilled! Press the plant icon to reveal its skill!

Difficulty
Since the given Peashooter will automatically be planted in the lane where all zombies appear, it will be able to take all of them down, so the player should have no worries about losing.
Waves
- The two small numbers next to the zombie icon mean that zombie appeared there, with the left number displayed the lane where the zombie would appear, and the right number displayed the column that the zombie appeared in. Example:
3-5 means that a Basic Zombie appeared in the third lane, at the fifth column. If there's only one small number next to the zombie icon, then it means that that zombie appeared at the start of the lawn, and at the lane that the number displays. Example: 2 means that a Basic Zombie appeared in the third lane, at the start of the lawn. Note that this only displays the position of the zombies that have the highest chance of spawning.

Strategies
- Follow the tutorial by tapping the "Play" button. The planted Peashooter should kill all zombies in a few turns.
- Remember, the plant icons which are used for activating the plants' skill will glow, which shows that its anger is full. Follow the tutorial by tapping the Peashooter icon once it glows.
