Basic Zombie was a zombie involved in the third case of Plants vs. Zombies: Plant Detective Club. He wore a business suit, leather shoes and eyeglasses.
Noble Zombie
Basic Zombie was a librarian in Zombie Library. He could also write and publish books by himself. He had three maids serving him at his home and he did not need to cook by himself.
Money Bag Mischief
One day after work, in Plants and Zombies Free Trade Market, seeing Squash's youtiao stall, he sat down and ordered some youtiaos. When he was about to leave, he took the money bag of Squash but got caught red-handed. They started an argument which attracted Chief Threepeater and Zomboss. Basic Zombie claimed that he bought the money bag three years ago during a business trip in a random shop. He showed his willingness to provide the address if needed.
Exposed
The commotion also attracted the Plant Detective Club passing by. Using water to prove the presence of oil on every coin within the money bag, Peashooter proved that the only possible owner of the coins was Squash. Basic Zombie was then sentenced to seven years of imprisonment due to fraud and perjury.
