Harvey Flaxcaster is an unseen character. In Level 4-5 of Plants vs. Zombies, Crazy Dave mentioned Harvey Flaxcaster by telling to the player that he and Harvey used to break vases when they were bored. Some time later, Harvey moved away from town, explaining why he is never seen on-screen.

Harvey Flaxcaster is an unseen character. Although his name was not mentioned, a certain "good friend of Crazy Dave" was mentioned in the story. This supposed Harvey Flaxcaster was a potter who owned a pot factory. He made a lot of vases and grew plants inside them, creating Chomper. However, a zombie somehow snuck into the factory and got eaten by the Chomper. The supposed Harvey Flaxcaster and Crazy Dave then decided to seal the pots altogether and forgot about the event a year later.
