The Multiplayer Portal is the portal that appears in the Backyard Battleground in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and in Dave Manor/Zomboss HQ in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It allows the player to access multiple online game modes, including Welcome Mat, Gnome Bomb, Suburbination, Mixed Mode, Turf Takeover, Vanquish Confirmed!, and Team Vanquish. There is a multiplayer portal on both plant and zombie sides.

In Battle for Neighborville, there are currently 4 modes available, Turf Takeover, Team Vanquish, Mixed Mode(Contains Vanquish Confirmed, Suburbination, and Gnome Bomb), and Garden/Graveyard Ops.

Trivia

• The Multiplayer Portal is hinted to have been constructed by the Gnomes.
• There is a glitch where you can use a drone to get out of bounds and see the portal room where you go after jumping into the portal.
